I leave in three days, and am totally unprepared for the voyage that's about to ensue.
Technically, however, I am. All of my travel arrangements are at the very least committed to paper. I have a laundry-list of shit to buy, sights to visit, soccer matches to attend, alcohol to consume, gentiles to laugh with/at.
I am slated to leave Friday morning for Paris via New York; a two-hour layover aside, its down to Marseille to reunite with my Russian mail-order biznatch that left me for a younger man. And the bitch wants shared custody. Can you believe that shit?

Needless to say, I am really looking forward to getting out and exploring the world Yurop-stylee. I plan on doing my annual recap post somewhere in London before the close of December, but if I somehow forget to do such or lack a legitimate internet connection, I would like to wish you all an enjoyable holiday season, as well as a happy new year to you and yours.
